Recreational: I had a PPL accumulating approx.. 200hrs but let it lapse 30yrs ago. Since purchasing the Mercer Airport four years ago I have become interested in doing a RPL
Hobbies: Cycling, kayaking, multi-sport – have competed in the NZ Coast to Coast Multisport event, the Rarotonga Triathalon, and the Noosa Triathalon, as well as touring the Tour du France cycle race, and walking the Himalayas to Base Camp

What was / is the reason for your decision to compete in air sports? I competed originally in order to improve my skills. Today I compete to maintain my skills.
Flying experience and activities:
Professional. I hold a CPL(A) with 4,300+hrs total time, am a Flight Instructor with 1,600+hrs experience, and have flown Part 135 & 121 Air Transport operations for a small airline operator. We currently own and operate a small airport at Mercer, New Zealand.
Recreational: I enjoy Air Racing, having competed in races in New Zealand, and USA in the all-women’s Air Race Classic, as well as being a FAI International Juror on the 2001 London to Sydney Air Race, after ferrying a Mooney aircraft from NZ to the UK for that Race. I have also set a number of FAI World Speed Records. I Captain a PBY Catalina for the NZ Catalina Preservation Society. I have not competed in Precision Flying for 15yrs.
Hobbies: I enjoy sailing and skiing as well as the performing arts.
